It struck me not long ago that kittens and young cats might someday read my diaries. “Wouldn’t it be charitable,” I thought, “to pass on some wise advice about becoming a truly accomplished feline?”

Back in my youth — before I officially began my royal career — I spent quite a bit of time considering my professional development. After all, what line of work could possibly suit someone with so many dazzling talents?
