Cat Lover’s Song

There are people who sincerely love dogs.

There are people who like shiny little frogs.

Some admire a flying eagle,

Some prefer a running beagle,

And others are enchanted with hedgehogs.

But I love cats,

I do love cats,

I don’t care who says what ‘cause

I LOVE CATS!

Some have diamonds and consider them best friends.

Some have millions, their bother never ends.

Some have islands to retire,

Some have paintings to admire,

Some have yachts to go away for a weekend.

And I have cats,

Full house of cats,

I proudly own a fantastic

HERD OF CATS!

People dream of lofty mountains to climb,

People dream of chasmal oceans to dive,

People dream of love and glory, 

Dream of writing a great story,

And of many hidden treasures they could find.

I dream of cats,

I want more cats,

There is nothing more exciting than

HAVE CATS!

I know people who admire all-black cats,

I know people who require tabby cats,

And some people have fantastic,

Genuine, enthusiastic,

Extraordinary love for orange cats.

I love them all,

Both big and small,

Splendid tails and fluffy tummies,

Those shy and those chummy,

All colors and all genders -

LOVE THEM ALL!
